Give ’em something to talk about

Founder Nicole Heere began making art at a young age. As she puts it “I’ve been making art ever since I could hold a crayon”. As a child she studied oil painting, mastering landscapes by age 12. She then began studying animals, their skeletal structure and how to paint various types of feathers and fur. Once she felt comfortable drawing and painting animals, she moved on to the human form – the most challenging form to paint.

It was in her exploration of how to represent the human form, a personality began to develop in her work. A housewife rebellion!
